Synopsis: Marta, an 11-year-old pre-teen, spends her summer in a small, remote, and conservative village. Alone or with her best friend Alzira, she seeks freedom while beginning to shape her identity in a world dominated by older generations, strict routines, and family expectations. Life in the village and her family impose traditions and routines, while friendship gives her the freedom to choose who she truly wants to be. In the tension between the reality that surrounds her and the imagined world of adolescence, Marta begins to discover herself.
